We know that Space and the Universe are something big and enormous which could be something beyond our imaginations. Like its size, the mysteries of the universe are also something that goes on till the infinity. I mean that some of the mysteries of the universe are still hypothetical and unsolved. Many of people might not know these mysteries of the universe. Today, in this article, I’m going to exhibit some of the top mysteries of the universe.
TOP MYSTERIES OF THE UNIVERSE-
Table Of Contents
Fermi bubbles are one of the mysteries of the universe. It is something known to be massive and the structure of that seems very mysterious. This is found to be emanating from the center of the Milky ways which extends approximately 20, 000 light-years above and under the galactic plane. This phenomenon was initially discovered in the year 2010 and found to be made of high energy gamma and X-Ray emissions. Scientists speculated that the gamma rays could be the shock waves from stars being absorbed by the huge black hole at the center of the Galaxy.
Astronomers in the earlier period of 2012, found a celestial body which appeared to be in the shape resembling like a rectangle. They named this galaxy as LEDA 074886 which is unique from others. Regular shapes of most galaxies would be like discs, 3D ellipses or even irregular blobs. Some of them hypothesized that it could have happened due to the collision of two spiral-shaped galaxies.
MAGNETIC FIELD OF THE MOON:
One of the mysteries still brings out a lot of assumptions is the magnetic field of the moon. It is known that only some parts of the crust of moon seem to have the magnetic field. This is making astronomers in a bewilderment situation. It is speculated that this magnetic field could be caused due to 120-mile wide asteroid which collided with the moon before 4.5 billion years.
REASON BEHIND PULSARS PULSE:
Pulsars are known to be the rapidly spinning neutron stars at a far distance. The pulses produced are assumed to be caused due to the emission of the beam of electromagnetic radiations at regular interval periods caused by the spinning neutron. Researches are still going on to understand the reason behind the magnetic current fluctuations that causing the pulses.
The dark energy is found to be spread throughout the space, which is about 70 percent of the universe. In that, roughly around 25 percent is made of a separate material called Dark matter. It is said that it could neither emit nor absorb visible light while its gravitational influences the motions of galaxy clusters and even the stars. It is speculated that it might be made of subatomic particles which different from those that creates matter.
THE UNIVERSE’S END:
There is a belief that the universe is formed due to a fact called Big Bang theory. Now, many of the people are guessing about the end of the universe. Many theorists concluded the universe’s end could happen which is something wildly in a different form. It is speculated that if the amount of dark energy is not enough to withstand the force of gravity, the entire universe would get collapsed into a single point called as Big Crunch.
